MAC is not just another podcast, it’s a way of life! We welcome Bridgette Martinez, a farmers insurance agent, who can help you in your insurance needs, but has a story of pain; that she turned to purpose. Bridgette shares a story that is impactful, from being so young, getting married, not much family support emotionally, financially yes, but emotional connection is needed, so important. So many of us didn’t grow up hungry physically but did grow up hungry for love, for acceptance. We wanted to feel important or worth our parents time. Which like I said, we got their sacrifice, hard work but not emotional / feelings connected. She shares the impact of seeking “Freedom” at a young age, but that quickly came with feeling lonely, controlled, manipulated and lost; definitely not free. She had her children(which she deeply loves), became a wife, mother, and employee but lacked self identity and love. But know she feels a calling upon her life, shared after years of tribulations, heartbreaks, disappointments, she can see God’s hand upon her life, a calling to serve and give back to her community, to help those around her, and one way is by saving people on insurances, but more importantly, by connecting with her story, and helping others find themselves.
